Not sure if it might be useful to anyone else in the future. Just finished converting the van (650 litre flat tank) to a 2 reel 2 pump setup. Plumbing is usually a foreign language to me so I’m pretty chuffed with it!

Ended up with a 1” elbow from the tank into a 3/4” Y, that splits the 3/4” down to 13mm hose barbs and feed the two strainers / pumps, then out the back to two hoses.

Only issue I had was I wanted a 3/4 ball valve before the Y to shut things off but due to space constraints had to remove it. Have one 1/2” ball valve on the secondary pump feed, need to pick up another one for the main pump feed so I can shut things off there as well if needed.

Managed to keep the pumps as low to the base of the tank as possible as I’d had issues with original single pump mounted higher up the side of the tank.

All tested and working like a charm ?

Would add some more pics but for some unknown reason the photos I add keep showing up upside down ?‍♂️
