hi lads  I have just come over to wfp and to be honest I don't like it but  getting too old for ladders  I am getting spots on the bottom corners  can anyone tell me why

Good point about the water splashing up from the sills after dripping from the top window. Sash frames also need to be cleaned under the top window, the part of the frame that 'canopies' over the lower window.

If they are old wooden sash windows with old flaky paint, then they can be a nightmare at the best of times.

Yep this, the sash ones take the most getting used to.  I use the top of the brush to stop the drips from the upper panel before cleaning underneath.  Speeds the process up :)
