Pole Snaped

B and q get a Harris broom handle about £3, you could use that thread if it fits into the end of the pole section? There are a few different threads about for the ends of poles think I seen them on ebay

 
You should be able to repair this fairly easily. First of all you will need to buy a new top screw thread. I would recommend buying an alloy one instead of the plastic one fitted. You can probably purchase the original type from Pure Freedom or an alloy one from the link given above.

To fit this you may need to saw a little more off the end of your pole to get rid of the remains of the snapped screw. Once removed use any epoxy two-pack resin glue to bond this in, making sure that you lightly sand both surfaces first and then apply glue to both surfaces before twisting together.
