When I go to reel the hose in its not doing anything, it does make a bit of a sound when I press the button as if it's trying to pull it in. Has anyone had this problem ?
Probably 1 year but double check with who you bought it.
I assume you have checked all connections and the switch - I think they had/have some issues with the switches and have now gone to a switch operating a relay.
Have you tried powering the motor directly from your battery (via a fuse just in case)?
If the motor works then it's probably the switch or relay if it has one.
Tried switching the wires at thr button there and nothing. I ordered it 1 year ago but it didn't arrive until March so il call wcw tomorrow and see what they say.
My belt started slipping on mine after about 18 months daily use and it made a horrible noise. It went slowly over time to the point where the reel just wouldn’t spin at all. I rang waterworks and they sent me a replacement belt along with a video on how to do it. It’s a bit of a faff but it’s been fine since. I also replaced the switch with the older yellow one as the new one kept going. Saying that there is a tension screw that moves the motor in turn tightening the belt that may work but make sure you loosen the four bolts holding the motor in place first or the tension screw won’t be able to move it.
After going back and forth for the last 10 days it's getting replaced, there was an issue with it after only 2 weeks when I got it where it was blowing fuses all the time, like 4 a day, and now this issue. Out the 7 months I've had it 1 month its been unusable because of issues. Every product that gets sold will have a % that will end up having issues and need replaced,it's unrealistic to expect 100% of orders not to have any issues. it's an absolute pain in the backside when it happens to yourself though. There not the easiest to reel in manually either which is causing some frustration.
