Sorry if this has been done recently - did a quick search but couldn’t find anything
Wondered what you guys are paying for Public Liability Insurance and who with, cover etc… I’m a one man band and my renewals just come in.. 😁
Thanks in advance for replies

I’ve always used Alexander Swan.

I just paid £240ish for the year, I’m a one man band, but also do roof cleaning, softwashing etc, I’m covered for everything I’m working on, as well as any accidental damage on anything around me. £2m cover I think.

Mines around £80 a year for basic PLI (1million cover)with simply business. Mines just in case I injure a member of the public while window cleaning....it’s not happened yet in 32 years!🙂👍
Thanks Daz,

I’m with simply business as well. 👍🏼👍🏼
I’ve been window cleaning since 17 years old (52 this year) I’ve managed not to injure anyone either.
Nearly injured myself playing football Monday nights… think most who play are half my age!! 🤣

i recommend insurance octopus actually theyv now renamed themselves .Was with simply business for years i liked their magazine but the premiums climbed year on year . Been with octopus about 5 yrs no big rise as yet. on a side note employee liability ins is £100 per employee as a general rule,if somebody tells you its 200 they are chancing their arm
