Pump controller question

WCF

Help Support WCF:

No. It's there for a purpose. It will save your battery. If you are having low battery warning then it's time to either charge the battery or, of its not lasting after being charged, then replace the battery.

Thank you.

When a battery works and the charge is low the voltage will drop a fair bit when under load. The given in the battery world is that the under load voltage shouldn't drop below 10.3v. If it does then you are basically driving your battery into the proverbial ground.

So most high current draw 12v electronic items automatically cut out at around 10.3v

Among the items are caravan 12v fridges, Webasto and Eberspacher diesel heaters, 12v to 230 volt inverters and our Spring and Varistream controllers to name a few.

Had that yesterday half way through a days work, Took me an hour to get new battery from halfords got half way to next town and realised i didn't have my wallet ffs had to go home to get it   :1f602: .
