Pump placement

I'm just in the process of building my diy van mount and was looking at putting the pump on the side of the van rather than on my tank frame. Does any one know whether there are any issues with mounting the pump slightly above the level of the tank?

If it's a shurflo pump you shouldn't have any issues as long as it's mounted pressure switch down, I've tried it in most positions [emoji15] and that seems to be the only way you don't get issues when it's mounted higher or lower than the tank.

Equally important as where you locate your pump is making absolutely certain the connections, especially on the tank side of the pump are airtight
