for some reason my pump is dead ending when its on 70 or under just stop start, stop start, runs fine at 75 or over , ive recalibrated, checked filter , unreeled microbore fully to check for kinks etc not sure what to try next , any ideas please

I had same sort of problem the other week. I upped the calibration manually to around 60 and all has been well since.

Try upping the calibration.

 
tuffers, your an absolute legend calibrated pump to 60 & , ive tried it at 30,40,50 and my lad has it on 99 & its been bang on all day thanks a lot

next question why would it suddenly need changing, is it to do with cold weather ??

Cold weather makes the water thicker so pump needs to work harder.

Funnily enough, the temps were warmer here today and my pump went on the blink a bit. I thought about reducing the calibration down but couldn't be arsed as I'd nearly finished for the day anyway. I'll probably have a tinker with it if it plays up tomorrow.
