I got my self a Shurflo 2095-403-444 Trail King 10 Water Pump-12V/45psi-Silver, Silver, 45 PS of amazon, iv installed it and its connected to my flow control at 80% iv got it connecter via 1/2 inch Garden hose to a 100m long 6mm hose, I get a flow but not as much as I thought it get could the pump be struggling with the pressure from going 1/2 to 6mm should I reduce it to 8mm on the out let first, if I put the pressure ip to 100% the pump over powers and dose a start stop as I'm using it so I'm assuming there's back pressure? Any advice tia

At 10 litres per minute output, it will never work with wfp either @Pjj .

Window cleaners have to understand that Amazon and Ebay aren't the right place (in most cases), to be buying specialist wfp equipment. The best place to buy wfp equipment is a recognized wfp supplier. Shurflo make dozens and dozens of pumps to suit all sorts of applications. The pump you purchased @Mooghy will never work in our application.

Hi Mooghy. I've used a 5lpm 40psi pump on my trolley before, but it only worked because I was using a short length (20m) of reinforced hose 8mm ID hose. When I switched to using the same length (20m) of PU 5mm ID pole hose, the same pump on the same controller setting did the same thing you describe. I think it's called cycling - switching on and off. The only way to stop it was to turn the flow right down but then it was to slow to work with. So I switched the pump to one with the same unrestricted flow rate of 5lpm, but with a higher Pressure (psi) rating. I now use a 100psi pump and it gives me no issues at all, even at full flow if I want it. I usually run it at about 75% flow. Any more is a waste of battery power as it can't force any more water through, it just comes out at a higher pressure which is not particularly helpful and can even be a hindrance.

As the others have said, you need a slower flow rated pump say around 5-6 LPM but higher pressure rating of about 100 PSI
