Hey guys, I've recently bought a second hand Pure Freedom 350l 2 man set up and need a hand with the wiring on it so I can test to see if the pumps/controllers work.

The system is a 350l framed tank with RO and DI bolted to the front with battery tray, 2 pumps and 2 controllers. I have several wires none of which make much sense to me! I've tried adding 12v (and an earth) to the obvious power cables to the controllers  but getting nothing. I'd like to pulse the pumps with 12v to see if they work but unsure which terminals are + and -

I have a few options of what to do with it so not worried if it doesn't all work together but I'd like to diagnose what does and go from there. Any help greatly appreciated

Pic attached is the complete system (minus DI vessel) just removed from the frame of the tank for storage

Existing wiring to each pump is into different terminals ?

In the second 2 photos you have shown the head of each pump and this is the pressure switch. You will notice they have 2 red wires, one in and the other out. Red is positive. The black wire is the negative. So from the motor side of the pump you have 2 wires, a red and a black. So you will have a red wire running from the controller down to the pressure switch, through the pressure switch and then into the motor. The black wire goes from the motor back to the controller.
