Render staining

So I did my first render clean today and the front and side came up well but the rear I wasn't as pleased at. It seemed like the mould didn't come off very well, was there anything else I could have done - or go back and do?

Has the mould been painted over and is it growing through the paint ? If so it’s very difficult ti get rid of it

I suggested it might have been previously painted over, he was OK about it, I was just disappointed. The customer only just bought the house it so he doesn't know the history.
