Just a heads up  I’ve had a few pumps come in with very fine resin beads in the diaphragm. The source seems to be Unger but have not seen what beads are in their bags. It seems very fine mesh which is getting through the strainer.

They do it different up here in Scotland Steve. Tap water in tank then through pump then through DI Vessel. You do get a lot of back pressure doing it that way.

What?

Disagree. Myself, and virtually every windie I know goes, R.O, d. i, into ibc, submersible pump into van mount, job done. Never had an issue
I personally have a Di before my hose as a secondary just Incase my static Di depleted without me knowing.    That Di is AFTER the pump.

My transfer pump is not submersible.   And even if it was, the impellers on them can handle debris between 1mm and 6mm.

di resin isn’t that big.

Is back pressure an advantage or disadvantage  Doug?
I find the back pressure an advantage for rinse down.

Well you didn’t mention you had a static d.i in your previous post
