hi all, im just wondering what kind of resin do you guy used,

there is a unger resin that im thinking of buying that's 25 litre has any one had any troubles and how many gallons did you get out of it.

the best brand to use is TULSION. cost a little more but lasts.

i tryed some cheaper brand and that didnt last atall.

how much you get from it all depends what system you are using and how hard your water is.

my RO system uses 2litres of resin and that will last 2 weeks using 400-500 litres of pure water 5 days a week.

I use Tulsion mb 115,..not tried other makes yet so can't comment what they are like.

My tap water tds averages 350 ppm so need to use prefilters and ro before the di tanks.

If using harvested rainwater (15-25ppm) I just use prefilters & di tanks but as the tds of the rainwater is higher than the ro out will use more resin. Simples...

i bet you havent even done a tds test yet have you ?
my tds is 250 ppm at the moment with out any di yet.. i have the di ready to go but im wondering when it runs out what kind should i go for.

mixed bed or virgin mixed or mixed bed witch is probley the same as the virgin mixed bed

Get in touch with doug Atkinson on here. He is the man for resin, aren't ya doug?!
