Wilko ones are good

The best i ever found were from turners cleaning supplies in stevenage which shut down

1 Metre square twice as thick as wilko ones and i still use the same 3 i had 3 years ago

Just wash and go

Gutted when they closed

I've tried lots of different microfibres and the best of all of them are the window cleaning warehouse own brand cloths .

These are excellent but too small..only about 30x30cm

I rip the black edging off and use as sill cloths or emergency glass ones

I think scrims hold more water and dont need ringing out every 2mins, but a tw@t to break in

And when wet the micros always feel colder than scrims in the winter? I do use both but mostly scrims

I only buy pre-washed scrims these days- hardly need breaking in IMO.

i used to use microfibre for sills and frames, but found they hold too much water too quickly. now use scrims easier to wring out, a bit cold on your hands in winter, im going to put a mangle in van, they are the job, but hard to find.

Twist your microfibres through the handle of a gate or around a railing gets them much drier

Well that thread provoked quite a response .And my wife thought it was totally sad discussing cloths -but she was wrong !

So the answer is ....... BOTH
