Just after some advice. Set up a new RO today in the garage and just started flushing the system but noticed that the sediment filter is already going brown. Can someone advise if this is normal as I had read somewhere that people change them around every 3 months when they start going brown. Thanks

OK thanks again. One other thing when flushing the membrane there is a trickle of water that still comes through the pure outlet even with the gate Valve fully open for the waste. Is that normal? Would it cause any issues? Thanks

Is that carbon filter a solid block or did if feel as if it had granules in it. Reason asking is I’ve seen some poor quality carbon filters that damage membranes.
