Is that actually useful? My ladder is only 2.8m tall but 3 sections. sometimes you get small roofs in front of windows, e.g. above bay windows or front door.

my concern is that the ladder might be positioned even further and my arms can't reach. what do you guys think?

I have standoffs but only really ust the for guttering jobs. You will still be close enough to the window.

I've personally never needed one. I've done plenty of gutter cleans and the like...
