slx replacment sections

rite ive got a slx22 and the first 2 sections are geting tired im now thinking replacment but £50 for a number 1 section wich is cheep ! but im thinking maby fit a extreme section! will whis work and if so is it a good ider @Alex Gardiner

Pole Section Spares (CLX,SLX,SMAX, Xtreme) Gardiner Pole Systems

There would be some rigidity and weight benefits in fitting Xtreme sections, but the benefit would be fairly limited so probably not worth the extra £53+VAT. The downside would be that the Xtreme sections are not as hard wearing as the SLX sections so would need replacing sooner next time.
