Hi does anybody know if you buy another.remote and it will work with the controller u it I have already or are each remote coded to each controller.

If you have the 4 button round Fob a replacement can be purchased from Spring Or the distributor the system was originally brought from. In some cases we can also repair a Fob and supply replacement batteries if you have a rechargeable one. If its a Coin Cell Fob the batteries are available at most super stores and B&Q the Coin cell is a CR3250

As long as his Controller and your controller are the same ( For example both V16) and have the same model number then yes. The model number can be found on the back of the Fob.

Doe anybody know what the yellow wire does that connects between the fob and thr battery.

I am guessing your referring to the small cable loom inside the fob from the Fob PCB with a white connector plug. If the cable is broken the battery will not charge and the Fob may not have any power
