I bought a gardiner super-lite du pont brush a while ago and love it.
Recently I don't think its cleaning as well but still looks good.
Could it be the first couple of mm's have worn away which effects the clean?
How do you know when a new one is needed?
Or could it be me slowing down now I'm in my 60's !!!!

I've used an Xtreme 35cm dupont tapertec hybrid brush for about 3 years now with very little noticeable drop in cleaning performance. I don't hammer it, I just let the brush do the work. It gets used solidly for 3-4 days a week. The bristles on both ends are starting to thin out but it still works well. Once in a while I suspend the brush with the bristles pointing downwards and pour boiling water over it to straighten out the bristles.

I use the same brush and love it. Ive just this week brought same more. I've used the same one for 2 years 4/5 days aweek and not really noticed much change in that time. The only thing i noticed is it is a little harder to get the spiders out the corners.
