Type Of Water?

I am trying to scan the net to see what sort of water is coming out the taps in my area, I'm chasing this up now so when it comes to buying kit in a few months time I know what equipment to buy, RO or DI?

I know there is a peace of equipment out there that allows you to test the water which I will buy, but just trying to get a heads up now to be honest.

How does this equipment work? Do you run water through it and it comes up with a reading and with that reading there is a scale to say your water is....... Whatever it maybe?

Many thank for all your help and I have come up with a name for the company too lol, but will realise it at a later date as I may change my mind again lol!

I think you will find it's the wet type .

Fill up a container like an egg cup glass or anything like that,

Turn tds metre on and dip it into the water and it comes up on the screen as a reading in 3figures
