Unger locking cone

Can you fit a locking cone on an SLX 18 please? I know you can fit one. from w/warehouse, on a Phantom Pole if you take out the first section,but that leaves it a bit short.On an SLX would I have to order a spare,1st section and glue it on that section, keeping it  aside for when I want to trad? (bit expensive I realise)

Thanks Alex Good idea but the locking cone fits over,rather than in, as the cone in the picture,would it still work?Thanks

and glue the Unger cone to that.
