Univalve advice

Well he sent out same day and was great listening to me even though I don't make sense half the time only done the front of my house and loved it defo a step up from having the flow valve dangling off my shoulder in my opinion, actually looking forward to giving it a proper run tomorrow.

You'll love it Den believe me. I was working with a trigger on my pole and didn't think I could work any faster. But I recon the Univalve added about £20 to my day.

I'm using Gardiners Gooseneck valve at the moment on my everyday pole (SLX 18') and it's as good in terms of speed. But I think the Univalve has the edge in terms of versatility. By that I mean I occasionally find it a fiddle to turn the gooseneck valve on depending on where the brush is. For example, if I've had to put it through railings on a balcony to get to a window. No problem for the Univalve though.

However, I like the 'both hands on the pole for control' approach to the Gooseneck valve and I don't have that many 'problem' properties so the GValve is currently my favourite. The Univalve will be remaining on my SLX 25 though

You was spot on Mark067 I do love it defo massive improvement on what I was using.

I was working with mine for a while today and was reminded of a tip someone gave me when using the Univalve. When carrying your pole between houses, hold a small loop of hose in your pole hand. This help prevent accidental activation if you catch your hose on anything

I've often wondered about these, but can't see how they are better. Genuine question. Where is the remote located and how do you operate it?

The remote is on a lanyard round my neck and it is fantastic

Is the response instant or do you get that annoying four second delay like you get with most of the digital controllers?

No it is instant best £50 spent purefreedom fitted it for me has a range of about 50 meters I think

Would be handy if they designed a remote that fitted to the pole say with cable ties

I can't seem to find the one shot receiver you show on your trolley on PFs website. They only seem to show the one built into the controller and spare remotes for it.

Thanks for that. I'm considering treating myself to an Extreme 22 pole soon and I'm given to understand that Gardiner's don't recommend using a gooseneck valve with it so I might give this a go.

2 questions, 1. What is a gooseneck valve? 2. why can't you use one, I haven't seen all the posts on this thread but a Univalve fits in a pole not a gooseneck, I'll fast forward a little, Gardiners never used to recommend using an Aquadapter because of top of pole weight.
