Make a small hole on the top of the lid.
Needs to be able to breathe a little
Thought as much, though i've never come across is problem on the forum before. Gona drill a small hole i think in the lid. thanksWith the water going out and nothing replacing it you've created a vacuum. I think Tuffers drilled a hole and inserted a long tube to prevent spillage from holed lids
Does it do it daily Craig?I had this the other day on my 650 tank. It was almost in half. Undo the lid and it will go back to normal size within a hour or so.

With my tank in the mornings I fill it to the brim. Do the lid up tight. We do a few house so the water level is down. And undo the lid a bit. I don't like a wet van. So I put a pice of rag over the lid to incase any water comes out. The jobs of a lay down tank.Does it do it daily Craig?
