Hi, new to pressure washing bought a pressure washer second hand and put a new hose on it. Attached the same parts from the old hose. But when using it now I get a leak from the black twist on thread. This drops the pressure to the gun and you have to wiggle the hose to get it to stop. Do I need to strip it down again or replace all the parts with new ones. Thank for any advice

Hi, did you use any PTFE plumer tape on the thread when putting it back together.Try this first you can get it at any diy place. Hope this helps.

It looks like there is something missing. i.e. the brass connector seems to be in too far on the black plastic bit so the bottom of the brass is not seating in the plastic.
Are you sure there wasn't a washer or o ring on the old one?
