Does anyone have a link to information on water production? Maybe an idiots guide haha!

finally sick of the hour round trip to go and fill up my tank from spotless so looking to start making my own, the mrs’ dad isn’t metered and has said I can fill up there, just gotta wait for my tds meter to come in and see where we’re at!

also what’s the quickest way to fill up a tank? Some nights I’m only there a few hours, would this be feasible to fill a 350l tank?

cheers all!

Cheers mate, I guess it comes down to the TDS. I was under the impression that ro could take a day to fill, obviously I’ve got that wrong haha.

Id love to be able to fill an ibc but that’s not really going to happen haha!

It is cheaper if you take all day and store it as to fill your tank with pure through a R/O you'll need a 40/40 and more than likely a booster pump

You live in the same area as me. Your TDS will be around 250/300ppm. Don’t worry about the cost of being on a meter it’s really not that expensive, my total production comes to less than 1p per litre, including resin and prefilters.

Don’t waste your time with anything other than 4040 - I use this one and have found it very good value. I run it at 50/50 waste to pure, it produces around 2 litres a minute and it reduces my water to 12ppm before going through a DI vessel full of resin.

Thanks a lot for your reply @High-tower. To be fair the meter isn't the issue, I live in a flat with no outdoor tap, that's the issue haha! I'll check out that system though, I feel like 4040 may be the way to go!
