Water trolley, new battery?

Hi I have been offered a water genie trolley to buy stating new battery needed?

The guy has stated the pump will work with charger plugged into it, battery comes up on controller screen when trying to run it on battery.

Would you say this means it does just need a new battery?

This would be my first trolley so I do not have a clue

I have the same trolley. Mine has a very small battery and would need charging every other day at least. I'd say a new battery would be needed and it won't be that expensive to replace.

I've just done a quick search for you and this is the size battery that is inside it. http://www.thecleaningwarehouse.co.uk/gel-deep-cycle-battery-12v-26ah-1382-p.asp but I'm sure you could get the same battery cheaper on fleebay

Thanks for your help have now got one although it's missing the telescopic handles? Any idea if you can buy these seperatly?
