Wfp aluminium frames spotting

Hi all,

was on a job today with all windows aluminium frames. After I finished I noticed spotting on all the frames and at the top of the glass.. I did everything I normally do on PVC. Anyone know why this is? Anything I can do to prevent this?

If you were getting milky runs you need to ensure you give the frames a good scrub and rinse each time, the paint no matter how worn and faded will continue to oxidise, I have a job like this and it comes up spotless every time.

Old anodised frames can be a Paine give the frames a thorough scrubb and rinse along with the glass then go back over just the glass once the frames are almost dry and light rub and rinse usually they are ok then , the marks on the frames sometimes cannot be altered .

If they're old and have been done traditionally for years you might be leaching the soap out of the seals. Give them a few hard scrubs and rinse longer. I very much doubt you'll be getting spotting from the aluminium itself.
