Turn the pole upside down whist erected in short sections and try to close them.

If it’s a top opener, still clean. If it’s a side opener and to stiff to close, I’ll clean it without rinsing, but leave the small opener above it.

Hope pjj and part timer are ok. This was posted 4 minutes ago!

Tried this today. Ledge advice, So much easier.  Nice one

For some reason, some windows shut with a gentle push, others are stiffer than Ron Jeremy.

I find knocking the stiff window shut is better than pushing it, and pushing is more likely to snap the pole- my 30' pole is now a 29' pole...
