Hi guys I just got back from cleaning windows. I was cleaning the window frame and could see dirty water dripping from air vent so I flushed the air vent with water and then noticed the water dripping inside. I wasn’t to sure but seems it’s gone on the other side which is not a problem but I wasn’t sure if some drops have gone between the glass which will be a problem can that happen where it goes between the glass?

If it's double glazing then the 2 panes of glass are supposed to be sealed, modern ones have Argon in the gap the older ones just have a vacuume in. So in theory water should not get in between the panes! If you see one with water staining between the 2 panes then the seal has failed and the unit 'blown'.

Also the trickle vents should only be an air path from outside to inside to allow some ventilation, they are normally in the frame so don't have a direct path to the sealed units.

Hope that helps?
