Just thought I would ask if anyone uses a wfp utility belt.

If so what do you use and what do you find useful to carry about when doing wfp work?

I always wear my trad bags, a sill cloth, microfibre, pen, knife and I put my keys in one of the small compartments. Any actual WFP bits and bobs are left in the van, which is never that far away.

Myself I wear an ettore double pouch as like to carry the following when doing exterior house cleans:

2 dry microfiber cloths

2 sill cloths

spray bottle - ubik or virosol

6 inch blade

magic sponges

upvc cream cleaner

4cm safety scraper

crevice brush

quick-loq - scrub pad

quick-loq - trad cone adaptor

quick-loq - clean brush for glass

To name but a few bits & bobs that I find handy to carry about. Then if need be will put on me six guns too /emoticons/biggrin.png

Bloody hell smurf!!!! Hahaha you are mental

I dont wear a belt anymore, i used to when i first went wfp, like tuffers just my trad belt with 3 pockets but nowadays i dont feel i need it, as my car is only ever 100m away.

Occasionally i wish i had a microfiber on me to get those little bits off that flies leave when they die on the window......weird that.....its like they leave a snow angel or something

I have an ettore double pouch and single pouch, bucket on a belt, trad gear for bottoms, sill cloth/ fine weave microfibre 80x60 or scrim, small glass polishing cloth, 1 litre bottle of water with ecover, scraper, no room for my cuddly toy:( does my head in when wfp hose, which is kinking, gets caught up with my squeegee.

Even on regular cleans I try not to use my wfp brush of filthy ground floor sills etc as a mirofiber sill cloth I think does a better job also cuts down on how many times the brush need cleaning which in turn saves down time.

I don't carry much at all. I carry a small pocket knife to remove spider's eggs from frame corners. Does it quicker and easier than a scraper. Although it can only be used downstairs I find it saves time. That just sits in it's own pouch on my trouser belt. I then hang a scrim from my belt which helps to wipe your hands on and reel up the hose. Otherwise I don't carry a specific utility belt. Too much bulk! I change my brushes enough times in a day anyway that I give them a quick clean on each swap.
