Window cleaning van supplier issue

Hi everyone,

Recently bought a kitted out van from a well known window cleaning van supplier. Issues with the van straight away which the guy initially denied. Before even thinking about sorting the issues out he just wanted me to send the van back… obviously I needed the van, I had work booked in so that wasn’t an option. Finally said he’ll pay for the repairs… that was 2 weeks ago and is now ignoring my messages and the invoices I sent him. The van is financed so will have to go through them, just wish he would honour the repairs and make this easy like it should be. What does every think?

Just tell the finance company about the costs and issues. They should be on your side and are far more likely to be able to sort it out. I'd ask if you can return it if it's not fit for purpose.
The name of the van company could help others from having these issues

It could but when I did that they used my posting on a public forum as a reason they couldn’t help me. Suddenly all comms had to go through the “directors” (of which there is one on companies house) and they just basically didn’t respond.
