Window cleaning customers

i find it so varied..

The 'old dears' I've got on my round know to the minute when I'm coming round to clean and if I'm a day late they say 'we thought maybe you was ill or on holiday......' :1f644:

Others don't even know when I'm coming or when i last came to clean....

With regards to payment - some pay in advance, some have the cash waiting, others up to 6+ months later to get paid.

The ideal customer for me is that they are never at home, no need to knock, just shove a docket through the door and straight onto the next job - no time wasting.

I have had customers chase after me and say 'we want to pay you...'  :1f602:  i just want to get the work done and head home - the less faffing about the better.

keep at it 'Beer' - you'll iron it all out in the end - we've all been there and had similar teething issues when we first started

Get more customers fast.

Of course you can't be binning them when it's all you've got that's daft..so get more asap then bin them or just pit uo with it I suppose

Im lucky all my customers are lovely all paid. I started Nov last year now have bang on 100 customers. 80% i have to infrom when im going to be doing the clean normally so they leave money out for me

Maybe when I grow and get a lot more customers then yeah maybe doing it my way won't work.

I only text customers with locked gates for access the night before.

In terms of payment most of custys pay via GoCardless direct debit then a few bacs and the rest cash which are typically retired couples.
