Would like some advise on people’s preferences and experience into buying either the x-line system or ionic systems , I here grippa tank is good but bit pricey atm , but I guess you pay for what you get I’m a newbie so please be kind lol

Ionics is very good but very expensive if buying new from them try looking for a second hand one on eBay or the forums , I have three of their systems love them there filtration isn’t the greatest I have modified it some what but it’s good kit , I have no experience with x line , but looking at it it looks ok ?..

They do have a 2nd hand one for sale a pro5 I think ? But after I get the add ons it comes 1000£ cheaper to a brand new one called the Titan ?x line I get some extras also ,  And the x line is 500 cheaper to the ionic I have had quoted , xline is 3 hours away from me yet ionic is only a hour so I’m stuck on what to do!

From a financial point of view the ionics one makes sense as they are close to you , but it’s up to you in the end , say hi to Ruben, Craig, and Patrick for me ??

Gone with ionic in the end mate

My Ionic wfp is rigid & lightweight.

I want at some point to buy a "fresh, clean brush".When i get dirty cleans i'll use the "old brush",then when clean gets "clearer & cleaner",i'll change brushes around.

Then there'll be the need for "quick release change"...i think i may by that stage i'll look for a Gardiner Clx 39..comes complete with brush head, jets of choice & reasonably priced...im yet to try & test.

A CLX of that length would be an absolute nightmare to control at height. You'd be much better investing in an SLX or Extreme pole IMO.

Thanks Cookie.I'll bear an Slx in mind from Gardiner. As gar as im aware,Slx's only go up to 32ft though dont they..judging by Gardiner website.

Cheers.

Er no. SLX 47 then extensions to go even longer. CLX 27 then extensions to take that longer.
