There is no way on this earth that a van that has only done 12k miles is worth 8-9K you can't buy a van that cheap something seems ? about the whole thing if you ask me. 

It does seem dodgy to me as well, however if that van has sat around and done nothing for a few years then it could be 4+ years old and would be worth what he's being asked.

If your spending that kind of cash there's a fair few options out there.

And @Tyler.saward, get the van Hpi'd through the RAC.

I can't count the number of times that people tried to sell off vehicles cheaply with an outstanding credit/finance lean on it.

Looking at the photos the equipment looks used. I'm with @Part Timer on this one; its looks dodgy. I would proceed with extreme caution and as others have said, only buy the van and equipment, nothing else.

Decals are not that difficult to remove diy with the heat of a hair dryer.
