I always thought when I sold my round that I would call each customer up and tell them that I was moving to pastures new, "but don't worry, I have sorted out a replacement, so he'll just start next month, is this ok?". I like pretty much all my customers, so I would vet whoever was buying itDon't understand how selling a round is legal.......not that I have anything against people that sell rounds as the genuine ones have prob worked heart & soul to build it up........but it is effectively selling data which the seller doesn't necessarily have permission or the 'rights' to sell. In other sectors there are huge, massive, bonkers big fines for breaching data protection laws......windies obviously don't pay any attention to that and just crack on with the unspoken 'windy code of practice' :windowcleaner:
'Retirement Fund'......haven't thought about it like that before.......wonder what I spend my tenner on.....the missus and minions will prob have the rest /emoticons/smile.pngI always thought when I sold my round that I would call each customer up and tell them that I was moving to pastures new, "but don't worry, I have sorted out a replacement, so he'll just start next month, is this ok?". I like pretty much all my customers, so I would vet whoever was buying it1) to make sure they were honest
2) make sure they're up to the job
Its the least I can do for the custies, since all of them have paid on time, and been respectful towards me- those that have not have been binned.
On the price front, I always thought 2-3 monthly wage was the price to pay, but I think its good that the price is going up these days. It gives us all a bit of hope for the future, a bit like a retirement fund. But I reckon the smaller the round, the more you can get away with charging as you'll appeal to a wider audience, not everyone has 20grand to chuck at a round.
