Leaky Univalve

Recommended Posts

As the title suggests, my Univalve is leaking.

I bought two on release, I've just started using the second & within the first week it started leaking.

Usage wise this shouldn't be happening but the warranty has long since expired...

I've tried to contact Steve via message through the Ex-ceed website & Facebook but no replies to either.

Anybody had anything similar or any suggested fixes would be appreciated.

..... and have you fitted it the correct way round?

I accidentally connected my previous one the wrong way round & it doesn't work properly at all.

Was there not a batch with dodgy o-rings? Fairly sure you can order replacement internals and there's a video on YouTube about dismantling it and servicing it..

There was. Steve removed it soon after he put it up on YouTube. (Unless he has uploaded again since.)

How do you know it leaks & it's not just water coming down the pole?

Sent from my iPhone using Window Cleaning Forums

Because I've operated it outside of the pole & water is coming out of the stem that moves when it's pulled to turn the water on & off.
