Any one know if I can slow down / tighten hose spin

Hey guys

 

Bit of a random ask anyone have idea if proloc heavy duty reel from window cleaning warehouse can be tightened on the spindal please ???

 

Great reel but mine spins so freely everytime I reel out as far as required and then go back to the van the hose remaining on reel is hanging loose around the reel and I have to pull majority of it off to reel back on tidy.

 

Suggestions welcome

I always assumed the grub screw on the side was to adjust the free spin? This is the electric version but gather it’s the same?

No , it’s metal on metal , it’s to lock the reel completely.

U might have a point I did try using grub screw to tension spindal via there however after a few reels in and out always found it worked loose
