Done a GFS clean today and used my flocked sill brush with a fixed gooseneck and slx pole which is a great combo for that particular job afterwards I proceeded to clean the windows with the same setup... small width of the brush extra weight and no swivel felt horrible, after the first window swapped back to my extreme pole and brush with swivel what a delight.

i always use an extreme brush and pole while cleaning s/f/g.....otherwise your just making the job harder than it needs to be......
Your extreme 25 is a fair bit heavier than my slx18 I would also use an extreme brush but on this occasion the flock sill brush with the longer bristles worked a lot better as the gutters were super tight.

The slx18 is on the van purely for these jobs where because of the fixed gooseneck,, the right tools for the right job.

defo the opposite to what your saying IMO.

I could of use my extreme 18 or extreme 25 but the slx being light anyway was already set up for the job makes life easier not harder.

For me the swivel is almost as useful a part of my kit as the Univalve. I can work without it but it’s like working with a fused wrist. I use mine for almost everything, soffits and facias included. I don’t do many gutters so my swivel almost never comes off

I very rarely do gutters etc now as there I should a local guy that I pass the work onto he specialise in gutter cleaning, repairs and replaces but not windowing cleaning.  only done  the above job as it was very straight forward no gable ends just front and back probably would have got away with just dusting and de-cobwebbing lol.

I like the fix goosenecks for gutters and connie finials find it easier personally.  But the swivel is a absolute winner for Windows and a must IMO.

I keep one flocked brush with a fixed adapter for the same reason but only time it’s been used recently is to clean my car and then I haven’t used it on a pole either. ? ?

I also pass most gutter work on to a friend who has long ladders and does them by hand far better than I could do them from the ground with a pole and brush.
