Softwash training solutions

WCF

Help Support WCF:

Hi all, am thinking about sending one of my technicians and myself on one of their courses, has anyone been on one and do you recommend them  https://www.softwashtrainingsolutions.co.uk/…..just waying up the cost versus the return doing a course rather than utube and google training and information gathering as ime new to the softwashing game.
Went on their 2 day course in Glasgow a few years ago, very good and well worth it. Run by Michael Conway. ?

They give you a City & Guilds certificate, I paid £500 and well worth it.
No such thing lol.

You can do a PA1 city and guilds level 2 self learning training course for pesticides through softwash solutions for 41 quid and they say that will make you competent as it is the nearest to handling dangerous softwash chemicals they can find.

You probably only have it for pesticide use.

Softwash Training

At The End Of This Study At Home Training Session And With Some Individual Practice, The Learner Will Be Able To Show Sufficient Competence And Be Formally Assessed To Gain A Certificate Of Competence Under City & Guilds / NPTC Standards PA1

Okay guys. You may be wondering why we are promoting a pesticides PA1 city and guilds level 2 self learning training course.

To be straight to the point it’s the closest thing that’s currently available to meet anywhere near the requirements to be handling chemicals like biocides and sodium hypochlorite et cetera.

To give you a little history the horticultural and agricultural industries have been using the PA1 certificating for City & Guilds to meet the requirements from the government to make sure that all operators of spraying equipment using pesticides, insecticides and herbicides are competent in handling these potentially dangerous chemicals.

So at this stage rather than reinvent the wheel as there is nothing currently available for softwashing that meets this HIGH criteria the closest thing and in fact highest levels regards to handling chemicals is the PA1 certificate and this will make sure that you are overqualified to handle softwashing chemicals above and beyond the current non certification of handling SoftWash chemicals.

The added benefit of doing this you will also be able to handle chemicals in the control of weeds et cetera which will be an excellent additional add-on to your current softwashing business.

They don't even state what the city and guilds is lol.

They say a digital credential from city and guilds and an achievement certificate. ??

Any other recommendations ? Really looking for hands on live visual training  over and above what’s on Utube
Be very careful with you tube there are lots of  bad advice on there , if you want hands on training without the C&G so called qualification look at purple rhinos courses they are very good honest advice and real hands on using the kit and no hard sell to buy there products it’s the best course we have been on .

Hi , thanks for that and have had a look and booking on their next course in September, just a lot of information to digest and would be good to follow one set of advice till we gain more experience and start tweaking things a bit to suit

Darran at purple rhino has loads of experience cleaning places like brent cross shopping centre in north london where he softwashed the whole outside.

You can't go wrong with his advice.
