How much to clean this driveway?

nice one smurf ,id forgotten you bought the lavour , so no need to treat after powerwashing, are you still planning to build a hot wash trailer mount

To be honest I've not really found the need to use it much yet but that job it might come in very handy indeed.

I did have two trailers for projects but got rid of them both when I replaced the van with a bigger one.

I've not got around to building a van mount instead yet as portable kit is ok for me at the mo.

I did not need to use the hotbox after all as came off ok without using hot/steam./emoticons/smile.png

I've pressure washed alot of war memorials, headstones, ornaments etc. all different variations of stone and composites.

Mix caustic soda, about one bottle to half bucket of water. Stir well wearing gloves and goggles, don't inhale! The bucket should be giving off heat! Use a brush to get the caustic water mix onto the surface to be cleaned. Leave for 5 or so mins to react, you can then pressure wash with lower pressure leaving pointing intact. I'm rambling again.

Granclean is also very good if you fancy scrubbing with wire brush!

I've not got into historic masonry cleaning myself but looked into it a while back. I see there are different systems that firms use like torc & doff.

Took me 5 hours to do /emoticons/wink.png

A good spec washer & rotary flat surface cleaner is the key on a job that size.

Funny enough the customer already owned a domestic karcher that he said would take him about a week to do his drive. That's if the motor did not burn out whilst trying to clean it as they do /emoticons/biggrin.png

dont know how he works that fast probably take me two days..i wonder what smurfs eat for breakfast?
