You may remember i had a customer rip me off last month and was adamant i quoted her differently than i did

Anyway she rang me just now and asked could I do her upvc cladding round the back above conny

I said no

So she says oh i was asking because i want it done and last time you didn't clean my back windows (which i did trad pole and she watched me do it )

I never swear at customers but i lost the plot

" i tell you what love **** off" and put the phone down

Have blocked her mobile number and will be doing the old dear next door on monday who i do the tops for (70 ish and still.does the bottoms herself)

I only do it as she is next door to the other job

I will go out of my way to do hers and be seen doing it

Good on ya mate. Great to be doing next doors. Hold your chin up and be proud, rub her face in it. If you ever do her gutters, you can push all the **** into her downpipe. /emoticons/biggrin.png

Might also be fun to see what her old man has to say about you telling his missus to **** off /emoticons/biggrin.png

His windows will be too dirty for him to see Dave. /emoticons/biggrin.png

I know it very hard at times not to lose it completely but I try to always remain cool when dealing with awkward customers and not swear and/or shout at them.

Have to agree with Smurf mate don't bring yourself down to their level by letting em wind you up, easier said than done at times thought.

I don't usually lose it but sometimes it can't be helped

The old man i am not worried about

If like me you feel quite bad afterwards but that must be the paddy in us./emoticons/biggrin.png

How much paddy are you?

Thought they were green not blue

Like a lot of us i have irish family but my mum was born here and my dad is english

It still shows when out drinking though lol

Daveyboy, I remember you saying in a previous thread that you are in Stevenage. I think I met this customer today. It wasn't valley way was it?

I'm based in Stevenage. I've been reading these forums for about six months now and remembered you saying before that you were in Stevenage.

I'm having a problem with my account on here at the moment. It keeps trying to link with my Facebook account so I'm not sure if it will let me post properly or if it'll show a different username.
