My youngest three kids love it when I let them come to work with me. Today was my youngest daughters turn. I went out first thing and banged all my work out and then picked her up for the last two jobs.

She's too small to do much but she enjoyed herself and was over the moon when I gave her her wages.

Anyone else let their kids tag along?

When my lad is in his teens I'll bring him out with me to earn some pocket money, but at 5 years old and 1yo I would have to spend a while working on their trad technique.

Took my son when he was 3 last year he wanted to come , had about an hours work on an office and his hands where froze /emoticons/smile.png) put him of for life I think :giggle:

My son has helped me off and on since he was about 5

Now he has a good squeegee technique

He should have been with me today but he has a birthday to go to

He will be working tomorrow though

My son used to come with me occasionally til one day. We were having lunch in the van. Glove box open with his glass of coke on it. He managed to knock it over and into the glove box over my paperwork and cheques I had collected. Then he reached over the seats into the back of the van to get a cloth to mop it up and kicked over the bottle of coke that was in the footwell and soaked all the scrims that were down there having a warm up. That was 8 years ago. He's now 22 and we ain't spoke since lol

Bless her cotton socks /emoticons/smile.png

You still need to grow up lol

I tried the beard thing but i get way too itchy

Don't know how you cope with it

i take my godson with me sometimes 8 year old only for the odd hour, customers don't mind and they usually give him a couple of quid each

My son is determined he will be a plumber

He has it all planned out

He has the rest of this school year and next year and then he will do college

He was offered an apprenticeship from my mate but he said no i will do college and work with my dad a couple days a week

Then build up his own business before he is much over 20 and work with me on quiet days until he is busy

Very proud of him having a good head on his shoulders

He's been coming with me every week since I started window cleaning when he was 10 months old

He didn't always pay attention in the early days though

Davy you've had a touch there mate, most kids havent got a scooby what they want to do when leave school.

He is borderline aspergers so it is in his natureto have everything planned out

Very clever and could do well with computers etc but it's not what he wants to do
