is there really a flier out there that really works?? i guess its hit and miss with everything. im thinking bout another advert in the local advertiser, royal mail deliver them to 5500 homes and it will cost £38 for a month. this is where i got my first lot of customers from when i started out. down side is you sometimes get the homes window cleaners dont want. but i have also picked up some great jobs aswell. speculate to accumilate they say

yeh or you can have 1/4 page for 84 quid. i used to have the 84quid one in the summer and i gained about 60 customers but over 2 years i ditched about 40 of them, they were off casts from other cleaners because either they were bad customers who moaned over little things or never paid. ive had customers not answer there door, i kept cleaning and totting there bill up. some have moved and not said a thing.

if i had 150 customers id be pretty happy i think. i am lucky i got a few 60 50 and 40 quid customers but them ones are worth the weight in gold, if i lose them i notice my weekly budget. i had another go today at door knocking, GOD oaps are moany aint they. i knocked 50 homes and i dropped just over 500 fliers. ( after the knocking ) not ONE customer :angry:

I got 150 customers, only brings in around 1100 every 4 weeks... My average price is 7.50 and my aim is to get up to 300 customers taking over 2k , my biggest job is a 60 kwid pub and a 18 pound shop, all the rest are low priced....

thats good to know. so far this week ive picked up 3 customers. im happy with that, 3 each week is my target now. It figures out at 156 a year or 12 every 4 weeks. dont know if ill manage to keep to that as i did make a target that by october just gone id be fulltime working and have a helper and be on 100 customers.
