Anyone Know How What I Need To Charge A Battery In The Back Of My Van? How Do You Install A Split Relay? Everyone I Talk To Says Its Easy A Kid Can Do It, Is This True?

the only mistake that i find people make when installing thease relays is they use too thin cable, using thicker cable will give much better results

the one I use if your only charging one battery enables you to run 2 wires from the main battery to the 2nd this also helps cut down any heat generated.

thats the one i have fitted to mine, no problems with it!

its easy,

red wire from battery to fuse then to the box.

red wire from box to fuse then to pump battery

black wire from box to negative on van battery

then on the negative side of pump battery wire a black wire onto the bear metal work of the van for earthing it.
