It's renewal time for my Ford Focus which is my personal car and also the vehicle that services my small round. In the previous year I did not declare the car for business use as the millage is really minimal (less than 1,000 per year). However on reflection I think it's time to go legitimate and declare the business miles I intend to do as hopefully I'll be looking to grow my round over the next few months.

I've been playing around with quotes and can see no real price hike in adding these business miles so it's a no brainer! It's time to get myself fully protected in case the worst should happen.

    Your thoughts please guys?

If you have an accident with all our work gear in you won't have insurance.

Just imagine hitting a child and your insurance company don't pay out coz you never declared it.

    Hard but true.
