Grey marks, any ideas please

I have cleaned some office windows for over 5 years with no problems, then when I turned up to do the April wash 4 panes in 1 large window had some bad grey marks on, almost like very bad spotting. No matter how hard I tried, pure, trad and even pure TFR, nothing would move it. Any ideas would be appreciated

They literally appeared in between washes, no other windows have a mark on them.

Spray some viakal on it

Clean the other windows

Go back and do those ones

Works for me

They haven't had any pressure washing or anything done between cleans have they?

I had 1 like that where the tap water had dried on it

They have grass under them, and there are 2 windows to the left that are closer to the car park, so they would be marked also? It's an hour job so if lemon juice doesn't work I will try your tip, thanks.

maybe its something that hascbeen sprated onto the drass to treat it ?

I have a customer that always sprays her plants with plant food, I use a bit of wilko fine steel wool to get it off, just try a small area first to check it won't scratch glass/tint.

Works a treat on tigerstripes too with a bit of degreaser.
