Help me spec a homemade wfp set up

My storage tank only cost about £100 and is about a metre square so it doesn't take up a huge amount of space

my controller and pump came mounted on a board from pure freedom's ebay shop for £159, a lot cheaper than buying it from their web site!!

Use 15mm hose and quick fit fittings as they're very cheap and can be bought from any builders merchant, way cheaper than buying "special wfp hose and fittings" .

I use a leisure battery to power it which I charge every couple of days in my garage, again easy and simple!

Do I get paid for all this help?? ;-)

I strapped a piece of wood and the tank to the bulkhead and secured the vessel, battery box and pump/controller to it.

the picture shows it very well.

Looks a good unit yeah,and what size is that tank in your van?is it just strapped down?

it's a 400lt tank from gardiner poles, just one strap at the top holds it in, the other strap holds the board in place

Okay thanks,think I'll go for this idea. Gona speak to daqua tomorrow re their home diy soft water 400 litre kit first but think that comes in around 900 pound with a 22 foot pole.

I'm assuming I could probably set this up your way,with a good 40 foot slx pole for similar cash
