Twin Di Or Ro What Do You Think?

WCF

Help Support WCF:

I would always go with RO - But you could easily do twn DI

How much water will you be using.....
Not a lot to start with but eventually probably about 600 litres a week.

I would STILL RO tbh but thats just me mate /emoticons/smile.png

Why not buy twin DI to start off with, see how you get on.

You will STILL need to polish the RO water anyway. And polishing RO with twin DI's would be very cost effective as well!

Thanks Damo, that's what I figured.

Like you suggest I will probably start with twin di and go from there. Will be interesting to see how much it will cost me in resin!

Cheers.

600L a week running through ONE DI would work out to be around £30 a month.

Thats like 2 or 3 houses a month covers your whole resin bill!

my waters 106ppm

and before i need to buy another bag of resin for 70 quid i will have earned about 1600-1800 kwid

thats just one 11ltr di ... ill be getting 2 soon when i can afford it

So your twin 11l have lasted you a year?!

What resin do you use and where do you get it from? Do you think the same brand resin varies from retailer to retailer?

Depends on what you charge, you can up to 200 times the cost of the resin. Pricing is everything, but for the amount of water you need you might as well just use DI
