Not sure if I have this wrong but I see most people recommending diluting hypo to use such as 1:3 or 1:5 etc. Hypo as we know is usually about 15% and household bleach contains about 4.6% hypo so would using neat household bleach be the same (give or take) as a hypo dilution of 1:3? and it already has the surfactant and a scent in it.

if you've got money to burn! No one in their right mind would use household bleach. If you're using a 1:3 mix @15% that's 100ltrs of hypo total. Why on earth would you buy 20ltrs of household bleach for roughly the same money (or maybe a lot more) when you can get 5 times as much!
