That and protectaballs are a good idea but the only rectus fitting i use nowadays is on the connection from gardiners backpack to 30m of hose

Any other connections i use are jg 8mm pushfit and have no need for any protection as they last forever and are under a quid each if they need replacing

Not at the mo mate as it's all in the shed for the night

Basically it is just a female rectus that i got already attached with my gardiners backpack

male on 30m of gardiners reinforced pole hose jg fitting with 8mm hosetails to connect to the pole hose already in my pole which is about 30ft

Simple and nothing to protect

The protector from exceed is brilliant worked a treat on my fittings. I was always pulling them apart when dragging hose round

The Exceed protectors are pole base caps get one size then the next size up, done. The gardiner ball protector is about as useful as an ashtray on a motorbike and it's something else to snag
